Security for Your Organization, Clients, and Partners

XQ allows you to encrypt, manage, and track all of your information.

The Threat

For people who aren’t experts, cybersecurity can be intimidating. Any way you cut it, deploying security tools and educating your employees is a tedious, mundane task that solicits antipathy from your staff, as well as a few yawns.

Cybersecurity is amongst your firm’s biggest liabilities, as well as one of its most expensive and complex issues to solve. Consider this, big-cap corporations spend almost $2700 per employee each year on cybersecurity solutions that only mitigate the threat. Imagine paying nearly $1 billion a year for only partial protection.

The threat of not having adequate security tools in place is devastating. This is especially acute in industries where trust is a key component of doing business. If a client is unsure of a lender’s security practices, they’ll simply move on. Why risk turning over sensitive financial and personal information to someone you don’t fully trust if there is seemingly an abundance of lenders?

Loss of client trust and business is not the only concern. New regulations in New York, California, and Massachusetts make the exposure of client information a crime punishable by a fine. The fines are for each instance of exposed individual customer information, meaning a data breach could easily result in millions of dollars in fines. As the tempo of new legislation on the matter increases, businesses can expect a more dense regulatory framework, with greater penalties for breaches.

XQ’s Solution

At XQ, we’re reinventing cybersecurity by focusing on user experience while employing bleeding-edge technologies. XQ provides an advanced quantum encryption product that meets and exceeds NIST, CCPA, and HIPPA guidelines. We’ve developed a cross-platform edge encryption system that works across all of the most commonly used messaging platforms and does not conflict with existing security systems. We also offer the first encryption product to have verifiable compliance functions in addition to cross-platform security. Our system is the most secure, transparent, and easiest to use encryption system on the market.

Zero-Trust Security Model for Data

Zero-Trust is a new security architecture where users do not need to trust the system. The Zero-Trust approach is used in services such as Blockchain-based transaction systems. XQ Message is the first Internet-scale data protection solution to incorporate a Zero-Trust security model.

XQ key generation and distribution systems operating outside the security of a mobile or cloud app. XQ only handles policy-based key distribution (never the data). Moreover, regulated enterprises have the option of running XQ’s software in their own AWS account or server.

Another important aspect of XQ is that the edge-based processing model enables every transaction to have a different key.  When combined with XQ’s out-of-band key distribution, application developers and enterprises benefit from a level of data protection that is unparalleled in Internet-scale systems.

Enabling Technology: Quantum-Safe Data Encryption

To encrypt data inside the embedded execution environment of a mobile app requires a highly optimized software design. To achieve the dual goals of high security while utilizing a tiny footprint XQ developed the first quantum-safe data encryption software client for mobile devices and IoT sensors.

XQ’s patent-pending design streams quantum random numbers (qRNG) inside a mobile app’s embedded execution environment where it is used to generate a local encryption key. That key encrypts the data inside the app environment. The key is then posted to XQ’s backend server with retrieval policies such as identity and expiry.

An example of XQ’s advanced architecture can be seen in its Apple iMessage application. The XQ icon appears inside iMessage as an embedded application. Users can protect messages using quantum-safe encryption and set policies such as one-time read. The data never leaves iMessage and enterprises have the option of deploying their own XQ backend for key distribution.
